The bill (Reg.
No. 7484) sets the legal principles
for introducing a compulsory marking of oil products;
determines mutual rights, duties and obligations of the oil
products distributers, and the authorized
state supervisory bodies in this
sector.
The Committee concluded that the bill complies with the European Union laws, namely, the Council Directive 95/60/EC on the fiscal marking of gas oil and kerosene, whereby a compulsory marking of oil products with a chemical substance, ‘Euromarker´, is added prior to the release of the oil products under the supervision of the fiscal bodies.
